Resume Toys — Account Deletion

At Resume Toys (https://resume.toys), we believe you should always have full control over your personal data. You can delete your Resume Toys account and all associated data at any time directly through the application.
How to Delete Your Account
Follow these simple steps within the web application or mobile app:
- Open Resume Toys and sign in: Log in to your account at resume.toys/login or open the Resume Toys mobile app.
- Go to Settings: Click on your profile or select Settings from the dashboard navigation menu.
- Open the Danger Zone section: Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page to find the Danger Zone card.
- Choose Delete Account: Click or tap the red Delete Account button.
- Confirm the deletion: Read the confirmation warning and confirm the action to immediately purge your account.
What Data Is Deleted?
When you initiate an account deletion, our automated deletion pipeline permanently removes:
- Profile Information: Your name, email address, profile picture/avatar, and account settings.
- Resumes & Documents: All created resumes, formatted sections, career summaries, work experiences, skills, and PDF assets.
- Career Data: Saved job analyses, ATS scoring scans, and custom template variations.
- Authentication Credentials: Your login credentials, OAuth tokens, and active session records.
Retention & Processing
Account deletion is irreversible. Once confirmed, all user data is purged from our primary database and authentication systems according to our data retention and deletion schedule.

If you are unable to access your account or require manual verification for data deletion under GDPR / CCPA, please email us directly from your registered email address at team@resume.toys. We process verified manual deletion requests within 30 days.
